  • Yes. In-personal handovers from our Knox Street, Yarraville location is the most common for our framed products. Because we are a home-based business, we have extended hours of collection available for your convenience. All our paper based products ship free.

  • Primarily, we recommend the A1 size as the best suited for viewing historic artworks & A2 and up for illustrations.

    If you want a custom size we can offer all our framed prints in technically any “A” size (A4, A3, A2, A1, A0) and any custom sizes – provided the artwork fits. If in doubt, just send us a request and we can assist with options.

    Please note that A0 (around 1220mm) is the maximum size of our glass before we have to look at other options like perspex.

  • We offer the best and most popular timber frame choices available, Satin Black (smooth), Oak Timber, Walnut Timber and White Timber. All our ready-to-hang prints are professionally mounted, framed with a protective glass layer, taped backing, rope string, soft bumpers, and protective corners for transport.

  • Ordering framed prints takes 5-7 working days to go from print to frame completion. We will notify you if there is a delay in getting your framed prints ready, or if we are ready earlier with your order.

    Processing posters and other non-framed items usually take 3 working days, public holidays will impact these timeframes.

  • Yes, Historic Prints is a sub-brand of the Brand Garage, a design studio in Yarraville. We have the skills to make anything custom, including adding logos, addresses, or other details to personalise your historic piece. Just send us a request via our Contact form.

  • These are printed copies of the original artworks we have restored. We print on 250gsm matt paper with UV cured inks, the UV bakes the ink in a raised fashion that you can feel, perfect for maps. These look the part and don’t come with the expensive Museum Archive paper cost which would double the retail price.
