Township of Bairnsdale 1940

from A$100.00

This Bairnsdale allotment possession overview shows the land size and owners in 1940. It’s a wonderful exploration piece to see who owned what. The bulk of West Bairnsdale is still in its original large hectare subdivisions. The Hospital is still in Ross & McKean Street, the Racecourse is still in Wallace St and the Devils Pit has become the Botanic Gardens (which is now the Outdoor Pool, Bowls, and Tennis Courts).

This artwork is a possession follow-up piece of the original subdivision lot plans before the proclamation of Bairnsdale in 1861. Own your favourite one, own them both. We can also accommodate other sizes on request, including A0.

Delivery to Bairnsdale. Historic Prints owner, Mark, is originally from Bairnsdale and still has family there that travel regularly to and from our location. We would use this opportunity to transport your frame to Bairnsdale removing your hassle.
